The Barn and Courtyard
The barn is a long single storey brick building, originally constructed to house the working horses on the farm.
It has been carefully converted into a single spacious cottage, whilst still retaining most of its characteristics. It has apex high ceilings with the original wooden A frames and exposed beams. The floors are boarded and the furniture is hand crafted pine.
The extended slate roof now provides a veranda furnished for warm weather eating and relaxing. Shallow steps lead into the living room via the stable door and to the lobby via the entrance door.

The enclosed gravel courtyard has garden lighting and is bordered with pretty shrubs and hedging. There are attractive paved seating areas, a covered wildlife pond, a BBQ area and ample space for private parking.
Outside the courtyard there is an all weather tennis court and play area.

The Farm
Our 500 acre farm lies in a designated area of Natural Beauty and benefits from being surrounded by the leafy lanes of North Buckinghamshire.

Our main crop on this heavy clay soil is wheat, rotating
with beans, oats and oil seed rape.
Our grass land, much of which runs alongside the avenue leading into the National Trust Stowe Landscape Gardens, is grazed by breeding sheep with their lambs at foot.
We participate in the Countryside Stewardship Schemes which enables us to restore hedgerows and ponds and leave uncultivated fields over winter for the skylarks and brown hares.
Most of our fields have grass margins to protect wildlife habitats and these can be walked in the summer months.
There is a Walkers Map in the barn.
